Eligibility and accounts

You must be legally capable of entering into this agreement. A minor may use the service only with the involvement and permission of a parent or legal guardian. You are responsible for providing accurate account information, protecting your login credentials, and all activity under your account. Notify us promptly if you believe your account has been used without authorization.

Subscription and automatic renewal

The standard subscription is $8.99 USD per month unless a different price or promotional offer is clearly shown at checkout. Your subscription automatically renews each month, and the payment method on file is charged, until you cancel. Applicable taxes may be added. By subscribing, you expressly authorize recurring charges according to the terms presented at checkout.

Cancellation and refunds

You may cancel at any time through the Manage subscription button in your account. Cancellation stops future renewals, and access ordinarily continues through the end of the current paid billing period. Payments are non-refundable and we do not provide prorated refunds or credits for unused time, except when required by law or expressly stated otherwise.

Limited personal license

While your account has access, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to stream the instructional content for your personal, noncommercial use. A subscription does not transfer ownership of any video, curriculum, trademark, or other content.

Prohibited uses

• Sharing your account or login credentials with others.
• Downloading, copying, recording, reproducing, republishing, selling, or publicly displaying videos without written permission.
• Circumventing access controls, payment restrictions, video protections, or security features.
• Using automated tools to scrape, extract, index, or interfere with the service.
• Using the service unlawfully or in a way that harms the service, its users, or another person.

Ownership

The videos, instruction, curricula, site design, text, graphics, logos, trademarks, and other materials are owned by Jiu-Jitsu4life Inc. or used with permission and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. No rights are granted except for the limited personal license stated in these terms.

Training and safety disclaimer

Jiu-Jitsu and other physical training involve inherent risks, including serious injury. The videos are provided for educational purposes and are not medical advice or a substitute for qualified, in-person instruction. Practice in a safe environment, use appropriate equipment, train with responsible partners, release submissions immediately when a partner taps, and consult a qualified medical professional when appropriate. You are responsible for deciding whether and how to practice the material.

Technique requests and feedback

If you submit a technique request, suggestion, or other feedback, you give us permission to use it to operate and improve the service without compensation or obligation to you. Do not submit content that is unlawful, infringing, or harmful.

Availability and changes

We may add, remove, replace, or reorganize content and features. We may also suspend the service for maintenance, security, legal, or technical reasons. We do not guarantee that every video or feature will always remain available or that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

Third-party services

The service relies on third parties such as Stripe, Supabase, Vimeo, and Vercel. Your use of third-party features may also be governed by their terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party services outside our control.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these terms, fail to pay subscription charges, misuse the service, or create a security or legal risk. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect, including ownership, disclaimers, limitations of liability, and payment obligations.

Disclaimer of warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the service and content are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee any specific athletic, competitive, self-defense, rank, or training result.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Jiu-Jitsu4life Inc. and its owners, instructors, employees, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, goodwill, or access arising from the service. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute not resolved informally will be handled in a court of competent jurisdiction in Los Angeles County, California, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service changes. Updated terms will be posted with a new effective date. If a change is material, we will provide additional notice when required. Continued use after an updated version takes effect means you accept the revised terms.
